Unveiled
An ungoverned frontier world, created by the ungovernable.
No banks, no authority, just a protocol of precarious agreements, moves, and betrayals.

Unveiled is a unique collectible card game in which you gain fervour for your ventures, spending it on mercenaries, spies, automata, and influence.

You play a rogue merchant trader allied to a noble house, alongside your cryptid-humanoid companions in a game of ambition and alliance, deception and miracles, manipulation and annihilation.

Cyphers and Secrets, Crypts and Cryptids

Every move in the market is encrypted, recorded, authenticated. Both protected and transparent. This is done via mechanical computers called automata, traditionally decorated with the bejewelled remains of successful and legendary traders.

Public, Transparent, Held Sacred

The receipts of each trade are copied into the Tabula, the permanent records available to everyone, and carried via sacred Couriers to central hubs where they’re copied and distributed, ensuring survival of every record in case of fire or disaster.

Venture, Valor, Vice

Any trader or guild can “launch” a scrip to bring to market, provided they can find someone to accept it or invest in it, and enter that into the Tabula system. As simple as the system is, it is also ripe for scams, counterfeiting, and manipulation.

A Fragile Peace Among Competitors

However, such excesses are tolerated only to a point: the alternative, after all, is governance: centralized authority, centralized banking, an elite deciding who can venture, who can trade and in what - a world inconceivable and unacceptable to the denizens of Unveiled.

What's your next move?

Bells chime in the harbour, and markets are opening. Guards have swept the streets of the more obvious dangers. What's your next move?
